To the Doctor:
My 1998 Toyota Avalon has fuel injector problems. I've already replaced one, but it is very expensive to do so. What can I do? Please help me.
The Doc Says:
Have you ever had the fuel injection system cleaned? Many companies today make a multi-part fuel system cleaner that can work wonders on modern fuel injectors. Plus, the service is a lot less expensive than having a fuel injector replaced. I would try a fuel system cleaning service first to see if that helps. If it doesn't, I'd rely on the advice of an expert mechanic for recommendations about how to permanently fix the problem.
